Money can be a notoriously tricky subject to talk about with your social circle. It can be a tough topic to breach even if you are incredibly close to the person you're talking to -- and perhaps more so if he or she is your significant other.

In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner Brittney Castro lays out how to start that conversation about finances with your partner. It can be helpful to set up a routine time to have a discussion. Consider organizing a specific day and time to talk about money matters (e.g., budgeting, financial goals), so that you can easily focus on this particular subject. Talking about money also requires some insight into your partner's past. What sort of relatioship, positive or negative, does he have with money? What kind of expertise or misgivings does she have about managing her finances from the past?

Answer these sort of questions with your significant other to not only learn more about each other, but navigate the path of financial management with ease in the future.
