1. Amazon lends hand to emerging Indian brands. The e-commerce giant has started a new programme called 'Select' that will allow newbies access to a host of brand building tools and services.

2. Elon Musk is no more Tesla chairman. Within hours of being sued by the US Securities and Exchange Commission for fraud over his misleading tweets, Musk had to step down as the chairman but will remain the CEO.

3. Paytm takes a big leap into online grocery space. Its e-tail arm Paytm Mall might reportedly pick up majority stakes in the online grocer BigBasket.

4. Maruti plans to build a micro SUV. The Indian carmaker could reportedly launch its Micro SUV with less than 4 meters of length in 2019.
