Raphaël Gindrat, the Founder and CEO of BestMile was in India recently.

In his maiden visit aimed at garnering a prospective partnership for his cloud-based system technology that manages and optimizes self-driving vehicles, Gindrat spoke with Entrepreneur India.

A graduate from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Gindrat is 29-year old and has specialized in the field of transportation.

With his startup, BestMile, Gindrat wants to change the world of autonomous mobility across borders.

BestMile, which mushroomed in Switzerland, has set a firm foot in United States and now wants to enter the world's fastest economy.

Finding the right partners is important and so is building the right partnership, says Gindrat.

Gindrat, a believer in technology, says it has the ability to enable revolution.

His company provides first platform for the intelligent operation and optimization of autonomous vehicle fleets, regardless of their brand or type.

By the use of algorithms, the platform sends optimized missions to the vehicles and seamlessly handles planning, dispatching, routing, and battery charging management.

Gindrat believes the future of mobility isn't in autonomous vehicles themselves, but in what they can offer when they are operated and managed collectively in an integrated ecosystem.

The startup enables customers to increase the efficiency of their fleet with a reduced number of vehicles while ensuring compliance regarding frequency and schedules or real-time demand

The founder and CEO says entrepreneurs who are looking to enter the logistics sector must have a lot of conviction and begin thinking globally really soon.

The Swiss-born says find the right investor is paramount. "For any kind of expansion, investors who let a company think independently are important."
